Calcium silicate board is a new type of environmentally friendly building material made primarily of natural materials such as plant fibers and mineral fibers, through high-temperature steam curing and drying. Calcium silicate board boasts high strength; a 6mm thick board significantly surpasses the strength of a 9.5mm thick ordinary paper-faced gypsum board, making it a superior alternative to gypsum board. It also exhibits excellent heat insulation and moisture retention properties; a 10mm thick partition wall provides significantly better heat insulation than a regular brick wall. Furthermore, it offers good sound insulation and possesses a range of advantages including moisture and water resistance, lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, insect and termite resistance, making it a preferred building material for architectural decoration.
