Calcium silicate board
Calcium silicate board is a new type of environmentally friendly building material made primarily of natural materials such as plant fibers
and mineral fibers, through high-temperature steam curing and drying. Calcium silicate board boasts high strength; a 6mm thick board
significantly surpasses the strength of a 9.5mm thick ordinary paper-faced gypsum board, making it a superior alternative to gypsum
board. It also exhibits excellent heat insulation and moisture retention properties; a 10mm thick partition wall provides significantly
better heat insulation than a regular brick wall. Furthermore, it offers good sound insulation and possesses a range of advantages
including moisture and water resistance, lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, insect and termite resistance, making it
a preferred building material for architectural decoration.
Performance
1. Excellent Fire Resistance: Calcium silicate board is a non-combustible A1-grade material. In the event of a fire, the board will not
burn or produce toxic fumes.
2. Excellent Water Resistance: Calcium silicate board has excellent water resistance. Even in high-humidity environments such as
bathrooms, it maintains stable performance and will not expand or deform.
3. High Strength: Calcium silicate board has high strength. A 6mm thick board significantly exceeds the strength of a 9.5mm thick
ordinary paper-faced gypsum board. Huashang calcium silicate board walls are sturdy and reliable, and not easily damaged or cracked.
4. Dimensional Stability: Calcium silicate board uses an advanced formula and is produced under strict quality control. The moisture
content and shrinkage rate of the board are controlled within the ideal range.
